I pay $775.00 now for 90 days (out of pocket) & the generic would cost me $212.00, so that's quite a savings. Just wanted to get the word out in case y'all hadn't heard. Have a good day! Amy

I"m reading horror stories on the internet - but the generic version is going to be so much cheaper, is it worth is to sacrifice my health if the generic version is going to cause me issues? Cheryl

Some of my generics do NOT work as well and do not metabolize in my system properly. But my insurance company has "politely" told me to "work with my doctor to find a solution that works." Whaaaa???? Guess nuff said huh?

I haven't been on this site in a very long time and I just meandered onto it today to see what's been doing. I saw the comments about the generic topamax and I was just put on it after being on the name brand for about 5 years. My insurance company won't cover the name brand if there's a generic available!! I haven't noticed any difference in taking the two - except for the size. The generic pills are tiny compared to the name brand ones. I don't know if that has anything to do with fillers or what. And - I haven't had a migraine in 5 weeks. I've been on the generic since about the beginning of June- good sign!!! Good luck to all of you who have to switch. Helen
