Hello, I'm new here - invited by Sheila (thanks!). I'm totally feeling the weepy effects of this drug - which I've been on for just over a week
now.
I had my first seizure 8 1/2 years ago - dr thought it might be hormone-related/fluke - never had another before or since until last week during serious time of stress - my husband lost his job - I had started a new one (first job in over 15 years).
The not driving is totally getting to me - I live in the middle of the woods and don't really have neighbors - my friends all live at least 15 miles away from me. I can't get my kids to school (still trying to work this one out) - so we are all of top of each other with no escape :) My husband gets home and we all want to leave - he is gone all day and just wants to stay home. My 14-year-old daughter told me today that she hates seeing me cry all the time and wants me to tell the doctor to change the medication. I told her that it might be temporary (please...someone...tell me it is!).
I also just read on here today that there is lactose in this darn thing - THAT would explain the stuffy nose and the three boxes of kleenex I've gone through!
